Allen Gordon Richter (born February 7 1927 in Norfolk Virginia) is a retired American professional baseball player. A shortstop he was listed at 5 feet 11 inches tall and 165 pounds . He batted and threw right-handed. Richter played ten seasons (1945; 1947-1955) in minor league baseball and appeared in six Major League games for the Boston Red Sox in the 1951 and 1953 seasons hitting a single in 11 at bats for a .091 batting average while scoring one run.
